It happened about a week ago.
I was just driving back to office after a heavy meal at home. The weather was as bad as a nightmare in summer.
No matter if that AC knob on my car was on 4, nothing but a whiff of hot air blew my face. It was a perfect foil to a great and sumptuous lunch.
And to make things worse, there was this lady who overtook me on a two lane road, driving at more than 80 KMPH on a lane that was supposed to be slow with a red signal ahead.
Here is the picture of this keen resident eager to break all rules and provide her bit towards chaos and mayhem on the road.
Luckily she was saved… as I meant others were saved by her tyranny!
On the same day, I witnessed two cars completely turned around on Fahaheel expressway. Both were big vehicles which caused a major accident. Wonder what drove these people to let their cars sleep on the road?
Note now both the cars are turned aside on the far right!
This is not a rare thing in Kuwait. People are so used to this kind of a traffic almost day-in/ day-out.
I hope not that by the time we realize this, things are far beyond one’s control.
But the important question is… What is most important? Life (Both yours and others) or the thing you are running after?
Accidents are as common as sandstorms in Kuwait… It happens very frequently and when it does, it does real bad!
