My second Innings…

No I am not talking about cricket. That’s the last thing I’d ever talk about unlike my other friends, colleagues and cousins.

Well, it’s been a while since I really scratched my head off for some good thinking material. And it’s been a God knows how many months… that I lost track since something came from my heart.

It’s been that 7 month itch I guess. So many things happened and how come I never found words to put them down? Sometimes words, thoughts just flows like a river and some times they just lie there. Stagnant!

Life these days changes in a instant and for me it’s kind of been a roller coaster ride. So many ups and downs but the cycle of life keeps going and better late still, I have come to realize it. When you go down, you certainly have to come up through the process of learning and understanding what is best for you and the people around you.

Now I am back home. Back for good. Bursting with enthusiasm, the joy and extra mile that I want to cover for my personal, career and spiritual inclinations. Home is where you start and where your heart lies.

I hope I get to do all that I always wanted to do. One baby step at a time. And I hope I get to do all these in my lifetime and inspire people around me.

I hope to continue writing my experiences and I hope you keep visiting me leaving your precious thoughts.

Good to see you.

Catch you soon enough.

Along came an angel

It’s just a year.

Actually, it was just a moment when we held her first in our hands.
And that moment is still fresh on our minds. As if it happened yesterday.

And that seems to be a year back now.

As we are nearing Feb’11 only then do we realize that it was almost a year ago when Shriya with her little frame came into our lives.

I can’t believe that we have gone a year ahead. Or rather a year flew by this fast…

I am already getting way too excited about what the future would entail.

She’s too small!

Well, kids do grow up so fast you can’t even imagine.

It’s absolutely amazing to keep a check on their milestones!
First the head up, then the interaction with her big bro’ AUM and then the way she turned around, then the crawl, the stand, the walk, the runs and all the panic buttons she keeps pressing…
While it gives so much jitterbugs, it gives immense joy and pleasure to see them grow and how!

And then there’s their teen issues and what not, their needs, their desires et all. Phew! That would be a whole new ball game altogether!

By the time I’d try to forget that my daughter is such a small little girl, she would have already blossomed into a beautiful woman.

Dear God, thanks for all the happiness and joy you have given us in the form of kids. We really couldn’t ask for more.

As we near her first birthday our excitement and anticipation just grows in abundance.

And all I can think of is “Have I been a better parent today than yesterday?”

Love your mom…

I don’t think any word can truly describe what a Mother is.
She is one person who transcends all barriers no matter who is she is and where she belongs to.
I guess a mother is same across all the species including the human kind.

Did you know?

A human body can bear only upto 45 Del (unit) of pain.

But at the time of giving birth, a woman feels upto 57 Del of Pain.

This is similar to 20 bones getting fractured at a time!!!!

Love your mom!

Rain – A Poem

A poem by Kruthika Dev

Oh Rain! You give me pain,
You fall like a grain,
That pricks and put me in vain.

If you are ain’t there,
We’ll be nowhere.

You are the most important resource,
We write about you in prose,
As you fall like a drop,
Something like happiness in me crop.

If you ain’t there,
We’ll be nowhere.
